Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is hiring a Cage Wash Facilities Attendant I to join the ARC Research Center team in Memphis. You will help clean, maintain, and sanitize murine facility areas, supporting equipment transport and supplies management.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED. Training is provided for those with prior sanitation experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a dependable attendance record and a team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Some experience in industrial sanitation and/or equipment handling preferred.
• We’ll provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily tasks in support of the murine facilities team, including maintenance and operation of washers, equipment transport, and sanitation of support areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and tracking supplies and equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance of equipment following established guidelines.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure high-quality work, escalating issues when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to help the team achieve departmental and institutional goals.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
