Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis invites you to join our ARC Research Center as a Cage Wash Facilities Attendant I. You will help maintain clean, safe, and well‑maintained facilities supporting murine housing and essential research operations.

Daily tasks include operating washers, transporting equipment, receiving and tracking supplies, and following SOPs. Training is provided; reliable attendance and a team‑oriented mindset are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial sanitation or equipment handling preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily tasks in support of murine facilities, including operation of washers, equipment transport, and sanitation of support areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and tracking supplies and equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance of equipment following established guidelines.
• Follow SOPs to ensure high-quality work and escalate issues when needed.
• Perform other duties to help the team achieve departmental and institutional goals.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
