Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort, located along Oregon's southern coast, is hiring a Cage Supervisor to lead shift operations, ensure accurate cash handling, and maintain security procedures. You’ll oversee paperwork, staff schedules, and day-to-day cage activities to deliver exceptional guest service.

The role requires at least one year of supervisory experience and cash-handling proficiency, with strong written communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year cage, banking, or other acceptable cash handling experience.
  • Team oriented; minimum one (1) year supervisory experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability in accurate cash and efficient paperwork handling.
  • Proficient ability to operate 10-key adding machine/calculator with high degree of accuracy.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Minimum one year computer experience with MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all cage operations during your designated shift, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Review all paperwork on your shift to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with cage procedures.
  • Schedule staff strategically to deliver excellent guest service while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Assist Main Bankers and Cashiers as needed to support daily cage operations.
  • Service kiosks, cash dispensers, and cash recyclers when necessary to keep all systems running seamlessly.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and build strong, positive relationships with team members.
  • Offer professional supervision and guidance to cage team members, resolving issues and escalating as needed.
  • Ensure all team members on shift comply with internal controls, reporting requirements, and company policies.
  • Record and maintain accurate Title 31 information in accordance with regulations.
  • Maintain strict security measures to protect company assets and confidential information.

What you bring to the table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Oversee all cage operations during your designated shift, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Review all paperwork on your shift to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with cage procedures.
  • Schedule staff strategically to deliver excellent guest service while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Assist Main Bankers and Cashiers as needed to support daily cage operations.

  • Offer professional supervision and guidance to cage team members, resolving issues, making sound decisions, and exercising discretion while escalating matters to the Lead Supervisor or Cage Manager when appropriate.
  • Ensure all team members on shift comply with internal controls, reporting requirements, and company policies.
  • Record and maintain accurate Title 31 information in accordance with regulations.
  • Maintain strict security measures to protect company assets and confidential information.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, teamwork, and hospitality, creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
