Job summary

Hollywood Casino Joliet is seeking a skilled Cage department leader to oversee daily operations on the assigned shift. You will drive accurate cash handling, enforce internal controls, and deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

The role requires 2–3 years of managerial experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability are required to meet business demands.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of related customer service experience and/or training is preferred.
• 2-3 years of managerial and cash handling experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions to manage the Cage department on assigned shift.
• Reviews internal audit findings and implements corrective action within policy.
• Provides a high level of guest service and promotes a fun, entertaining experience for guests and team members.
• Develops departmental procedures and policies to ensure compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations.
• Investigates shortages and errors; recommends and implements corrective action to protect assets.
• Analyzes guest counts and trends to determine staffing levels.
• Ensures all staff are trained on policies, procedures, and methods.
• Responds to guest complaints or problems and ensures corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.
• Other duties as assigned.
