Job summary

Charles River Insourcing Solutions in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a Central Services Technician I (Cage Processing) to join our Insourcing Solutions team. You will manage cleaning and maintenance of laboratory animal caging, cages, and related support areas under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include operating tunnel and rack washers, autoclaves, maintaining QA documentation, and handling supplies with accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate tunnel and rack washers for cleaning and sanitizing cage supplies.
• Operate autoclave machinery to sterilize caging equipment and instruments.
• Maintain QA documentation including temperature strips and logs.
• Handle and transfer supplies and waste to and from work areas.
• Perform daily cage wash duties and ensure proper sanitation procedures.
• Provide cagewash area support with documentation under supervision.
