Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months experience in a laboratory animal facility or related cage wash duties.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Removes dirty bedding and items from shoe boxes and cages.
• Operates washers; ensures cage washing equipment is in proper working order.
• Performs start-up/shut-down procedures for cage washers.
• Operates autoclave to sterilize equipment.
• Transports cages and equipment between animal areas and wash rooms.
• Maintains sanitation of cage wash areas and related spaces.
