Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Cage Repair Technician I for our Safety Assessment site in Reno, NV. The role focuses on cage maintenance, repairs, and related support within Animal Care Services, following GLP standards and SOPs. The starting wage is $22 per hour.

You will perform routine repairs, track cage changes, and coordinate with Cagewash and other teams to ensure clean, compliant housing for animals. This position requires a high school diploma and basic computer skills.

Qualificações

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn a validated system.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic equipment repairs, including mobile and fixed caging units.
• Respond to broken cage calls and determine if repair can be done in room or requires removal.
• Respond to animal drinking water alarms.
• Assist in EU dismantling and setup: remove ceiling panels, change air filters, and cage repair tasks.
• Coordinate with Cagewash, deliveries, and other teams for cage movement and repair tagging.
• Maintain, stock, and manage non-consumable equipment and inventory with Supervisor input.
• Follow SOPs, GLP standards, and safety procedures.
