Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green is seeking a Cage/Guest Services professional to support daily Cage operations, including opening, closing, and balancing of assets, and to assist in transaction verifications to maintain accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes enrolling players into the Player’s Club, inputting accurate data, and communicating with management. Must be 21+, pass background checks, and hold required gaming licenses. Several shifts including nights and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years related experience preferred (casino/gaming or guest services).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Must obtain and maintain Kentucky gaming/racing license and Sports Wagering license.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates operational information and updates to Cage management based on shift.
  • Reads memos and huddle sheets before shift and conducts team huddles when requested.
  • Ensures opening, closing, and balancing of Cage assets and reports issues to management.
  • Assists in transaction verifications to prevent discrepancies and ensure compliance.
  • Supports enrollment and issuance of Player’s Club Cards and accurate data input.
  • Captures guest emails and phone information at signup and validates accuracy.
  • Reprints Player’s Club Cards for guests who forgot or misplaced cards.
  • When needed, signs up players and provides information to Director of Cash Operations or senior leadership.
  • Addresses guest and Team Member inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Consistently communicates operational information and updates based on shift worked to keep all Cage management informed.
  • Reads all internal memos and huddle sheets before the shift to stay informed and conducts Team Member huddles at the request of the Cage/PC Manager.
  • Ensures the proper opening, closing, and balancing of all Cage assets and communicates any issues or concerns immediately with the Cage/PC Manager and/or the Director of Cash Operations.
  • Assists the Cage/PC Manager, by conducting transaction verifications to avoid discrepancies, and ensure procedural compliance.
  • Recommends procedural changes to the Cage/PC Manager when necessary and assists in the communication of any updates/changes with all Team Members.
  • Addresses machine and/or equipment and/or software malfunctions and reports any discrepancies to the Cage/PC Manager and/or Director of Cash Operations immediately. May conduct minor repairs only to ensure workflow.
  • Is highly skilled in all aspects of the Cage/Player’s Club and ensures the effective enrollment of new members, accurate input of player information into the database in accordance with our data input standards, and the issuance of Player’s Club Cards.
  • Is diligent in offering guests a membership in the Cage/Player’s Club and assists the Cage/PC Manager in setting the expectation for the Cage Cashier/Guest Service Team Members.
  • Actively supports all efforts for capturing guest email and phone information at the time of sign up and confirming the accuracy of the information with each guest interaction among the Cage Cashier/Guest Service Team Members.
  • Assists in the reprinting of the Player’s Club Cards for those guests who forgot their card or misplaced it.
  • In the absence of the Cage/PC Manager, is capable to initiate, track, and report the results of Player’s Club Card sign-ups to include enrollment, email capture and phone capture at the Cage/Player’s Club.
  • In the absence of the Cage/PC Manager, provides accurate and timely Player’s Club Card sign-up information when requested by the Director of Cash Operations or Senior Leadership of the property.
  • Addresses guest and/or Team Member complaints and inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or general education degree required.
  • 1 – 3 years related experience required. Previous Cage/Players Club or Guest Services experience is preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
  • Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and Sports Wagering license.

  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination
