Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is seeking a supervisor to oversee cashiering functions within the back-of-house operations of the casino. The role involves managing cage inventory, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The candidate will interview, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff, while maintaining strong public and employee relations and a safe work environment. Experience in cage/cash handling and supervisory duties is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination
• 1 year of cage, banking and/or cashiering experience and 1 year of supervisory experience required
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic including fractions, whole numbers and decimals
• Ability to calculate interest, commissions and percentages as they apply to job functions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with staff and patrons
• Proficiency with department-specific computer programs and related software
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams and guests

Responsibilities

• Supervise cashiering functions and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Manage cage inventory (Chip Bank, Main Bank, Marker Bank, Vault, Kiosk, Jackpot, Poker Cage)
• Address customer concerns and complaints within jurisdiction
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are followed
• Hire, train, schedule, appraise and supervise directly assigned personnel
• Promote positive relations with staff and guests
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment
• Perform related duties as assigned
