Job summary

The Vault Cashier at Kewadin-Casino, under Cage leadership, oversees cage operations, guards assets, and supervises cage cashiers to ensure accurate financial data and proper staffing. Responsibilities include maintenance of ATMs and kiosks, and staff guidance for real-time decisions while delivering courteous customer service.

Expect to resolve issues, support security processes, and handle deposits and sensitive equipment with confidentiality, including shift coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cage Cashier or cash handling; 2 years preferred.
• Criminal background investigation required under NIGC rules.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Knowledge of kiosks, ATMs, counters and money counters.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Cage operations.
• Supervise cage cashiers and staff cage areas.
• Maintain integrity of financial data produced by team members.
• Assess funds and ensure prompt distribution to appropriate areas.
• Maintain staffing levels through training and scheduling.
• Provide leadership and guidance for real-time decisions.
• Resolve customer service and staff issues.
• Provide maintenance on kiosks and ATMs.
• Investigate and report variances exceeding standards.
• Assist security with key control and deposits.
• Maintain documentation of keys, playing cards, and dice.
• Perform team evaluations and support other Cage sites as needed.
