Job summary

Jena Choctaw Pines seeks a Main Bank Cashier to oversee Cage, Vault and Main Bank operations. You will track coin and currency, and verify all cash/coin/ticket transactions in all Cage areas, assisting the Cage Supervisor with transactions.

This role requires maintaining adequate cash levels, protecting casino assets, and completing end-of-shift paperwork. The position emphasizes cash handling accuracy and strong customer service within a casino environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate coin/currency levels in Cashiers' Cage.
• Ensure floor locations are properly impressed (Currency Transaction Kiosks).
• Verify coin shipments and currency deposits are accurate and timely.
• Keep vault contents organized for easy counting at shift change.
• Prepare cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summaries and related paperwork.
• Reconcile end-of-shift inventories and other cashier records.
• Forward end-of-shift/day paperwork to accounting for review.
• Reconcile Kiosk Machines (Cash Ticket Machines) as needed.
• Safeguard cash drawer and casino assets.
• Count and verify all transactions in Cage at shift start/end.
• Handle change and exchange tickets for cash.
• Maintain good customer and coworker relations.
• Maintain jet sort equipment and coin bags; prevent jams.
