Job summary

Kewadin Casinos seeks a Vault Cashier to supervise cage operations, monitor staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role includes maintenance and reconciliation of ATM/gaming machines, and providing backup for daily cage activities.

The ideal candidate has cash handling experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to communicate clearly in writing. Expect to work within a team in a fast-paced casino environment, with attention to security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year as Cage Cashier or equivalent cash handling; 2 years preferred.
• Criminal background check required per NIGC rules.
• Knowledge of currency handling and basic office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Supervise cage cashiers and staff cage areas to match customer activity.
• Ensure integrity of financial data produced by team members on shift.
• Maintain adequate staffing by training, scheduling, and covering vacations.
• Provide leadership and guidance for real-time decision making.
• Assist with security windows, key control, deposits and incident logs.
• Repair and balance kiosks, ATMs, and currency validators.
• Investigate variances and report to management.
