Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position directs the cashiering and count room areas to safeguard the company’s assets. The role serves as a dynamic leader, fostering teamwork, employee morale, and open communication while ensuring high standards of integrity and accountability. It acts as a coach and role model, setting clear expectations and providing recognition for superior performance. The position challenges existing processes to improve efficiency, enhances guest satisfaction by partnering across departments, and implements changes to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance and direction for assigned departments.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations through department heads and supervisors.
  • Counsel, guide, and instruct employees in proper performance of duties.
  • Plan, develop, and implement procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Act as a role model and uphold the company’s values.
  • Oversee cashiering operations, safeguard assets, and enforce variance policies.
  • Provide labor analysis and ensure efficient utilization of staff.
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve total service and employee satisfaction goals.
  • Integrate customer satisfaction strategy into daily operations.
  • Provide analysis on strategic initiatives such as turnover and financial goals.
  • Participate in department budget creation and management.
  • Ensure training and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead team member development into leadership positions.
  • Manage project assignments, including strategic financial initiatives.
  • Gather necessary information for casino check cashing accounts review.
  • Collaborate with Collections, Cashier, Regulatory Compliance, Casino Hosts, and Total Rewards.
  • Interview, train, select, and adjust pay rates and hours of work.
  • Direct employee work and maintain production standards.
  • Appraise productivity and recommend promotions or changes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance and/or Administration (preferred).
  • General business and accounting knowledge with broad casino game knowledge (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills (required).
  • Proven supervisory skills for large staff management (must).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Well‑groomed appearance.
  • Physical stamina to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods (4 hours).
  • Calm decision‑making in employee conflict situations.
  • Mobility across property levels, including 20+ stairs or escalators.
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as push, pull, reach, bend, and kneel.
  • Responsive to visual and aural cues.
  • Manual dexterity for computer and office equipment operation.
  • Tolerance of dust, noise, and bright lights.
  • Availability for varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
