Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Missouri is seeking a cage cashier to reconcile and dispense casino cash, coins and chips while recording activities in the credit office. You will handle large cash amounts with precision and security, following established controls and procedures.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, coordinating with cashiers and the main bank, performing window cashier duties when needed, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely transfer of funds and documentation

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately account for large amounts of cash.
  • Ability to be physically mobile and stand/walk for 8–12-hour shifts.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required.

  • Prepare funds, with proper documentation for transfer of funds to the Cage Department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, responsible for reconciling and dispensing of casino cage cash, coin, chips and records activities of the credit office ensuring timely processing of transactions in accordance with established guidelines.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

Maintain protection of extremely large amounts of currency, ensuring prevention of loss by providing extreme care and attention to detail.

  • Summarize and inventory all casino cage cash, coin, chips and records.
    • Process all casino deposits.
    • Coordinate transactions between cashiers and the main bank.
    • Function as a window cashier as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and complete records of exchanges and transactions.
    • Ensure procedures and proper controls are followed to protect counted receipts.
    • Maintain awareness of changes and/or problems which may affect the security of the currency in the Count Room and report observances to the Count Room Supervisor.
    • Transfer the corresponding documentation to the Accounting Department on a daily basis.
