Job summary

Granite State Gaming & Hospitality in Hampton, VA is seeking a Cage Cashier to safeguard assets, handle cash and chips accurately, and deliver friendly service while maintaining confidentiality.

You will balance drawers, exchange cash and vouchers, process jackpots and credits, and maintain custody of all cage records. A high school diploma is required; prior gaming or banking experience is preferred. Ability to work nights/weekends and obtain a gaming license is required.

Responsibilities

• Balance assigned bank drawers and maintain accurate records.

• Maintain custody of coin, currency, checks, and all cage transaction records.
• Assist with clearing and resetting HHR machines.
• Ensure compliance with Title 31, including preparing CTRs and MTLs.
• Support other cashiers and assist the Cage Shift Manager as needed.
• Perform all vault functions and balance chip bank inventory.

What You’ll Do

• Balance assigned bank drawers and maintain accurate records

What We Require

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming license
• Must be able to work in a noisy, smoky environment with some exposure to temperature extremes

• Must be able to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
