Job summary

Granite State Gaming & Hospitality is seeking a Cage Cashier in Virginia to safeguard assets, handle cash and chips, and deliver friendly service while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires accurate cash handling, attention to detail, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a noisy casino environment. A Gaming license will be pursued as needed.

Responsibilities

• Balance assigned bank drawers and maintain accurate records.
• Exchange chips, cash, and vouchers for guests in a timely, courteous manner.
• Process jackpots, table fills, credits, and credit card/EFTPOS advances.
• Maintain custody of coin, currency, checks, and all cage transaction records.
• Assist with clearing and resetting HHR machines.
• Ensure compliance with Title 31, including preparing CTRs and MTLs.
• Support other cashiers and assist the Cage Shift Manager as needed.
• Perform all vault functions and balance chip bank inventory.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Previous gaming or banking experience preferred
• Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

What We Require

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming license
• Must be able to work in a noisy, smoky environment with some exposure to temperature extremes
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs and perform repetitive cash handling tasks
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
