Hollywood Casino-Aurora, Inc. is seeking a Host/Cashier to create a warm, welcoming guest experience in the Asian specialty restaurant. You will manage seating, reservations, and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math, and previous money handling experience. You will support guest flow, cleanliness, and event seating during peak periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Previous money handling experience.
• Experience with a 10-key calculator.
• Experience with computers, including AS400.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.

• Ensure the dining area and entrance are clean, organized, and presentable.
