Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a Cage Cashier/Player Services Rep at Turfway Park Racing & Gaming in Northern Kentucky. You will handle ticket and chip redemption, perform check cashing and cash advance transactions, and help ensure guests have a smooth, enjoyable gaming experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, prior cashiering or banking exposure is preferred, and the ability to obtain the required license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months cashiering or banking experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain license to work at facility from regulatory body.

Responsibilities

• Cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering questions politely.
• Count and record funds, make exchanges, ensure a favorable guest experience.
• Keep cash drawer balanced and coordinate with vault exchanges.
• Verify and document identification for check/cash transactions.
• Complete CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs.
• Maintain customer relations and ensure safety of staff and guests.
• Fill‑in as Main Banker when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Cage Cashier/Player Services Rep is responsible for the redemption of tickets/vouchers, redemption of chips, performing Check Cashing/Cash Advance transactions for guests and assuring that guest have a favorable gaming experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift. Assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
• Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed. Making exchanges with vault.
• Verifying and documenting personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
• Completing CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs.
• Responsible for customer relations. Ensure safety and security of employees and customers.
• Fill‑in as a Main Banker when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months cashiering or banking experience preferred.

Prerequisites:Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
