Job summary

Bally's Interactive in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a team member to build guest relations across shifts, ensuring guests feel welcome and inclined to return.

You will handle chip redemption and sales, cash handling, ID verification, and maintain accuracy and efficiency while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Responsibilities

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Redeem and sell chips to guests.
• Promptly cash guests out, give correct change, and answer guest questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Appropriately use all related equipment and cash handling systems.
• Keep cash drawer balanced and imprest.
• Make exchanges with the vault.
• Verify and document personal identification information for appropriate transactions.
• Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards.
• Track and complete all government reporting.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
