Job summary

Bally's in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a friendly casino front-line associate to greet guests, build guest relations, redeem chips, process tickets, and manage cash with accuracy.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, 2 years cash handling, and the ability to obtain a Louisiana Gaming License. You will work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, delivering courteous service and following all regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of high-volume cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in company and departmental meetings.

• Validate and settle Slot machine jackpots and cancel credit payouts.
• Issue table chip fills and table credits.
• Efficiently make exchanges of funds for team members.
• Promptly cash guests out, give correct change, and answer guest questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Appropriately use all related equipment and cash handling systems.
• Keep cash drawer balanced and in compliance.
• Count and verify team member tips/tokes.
• Appropriately sort and stack chips.
• Review operational data and complete and verify paperwork.

• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License.

Target Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
