Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs in Franklin, KY is seeking a Cage Team Member to join our team. You will handle guest transactions, maintain accuracy, and help safeguard cage assets while delivering high service standards.

Expect to work a variety of shifts, assist guests with promotions, and collaborate with Cage management to ensure compliance. A strong focus on cash handling, integrity, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
• Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and meet promotion policy.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Communicates operational information and updates to keep Cage management informed.
• Maintains accurate handling of guest and company funds by processing transactions and documentation.
• Maintains bank balance and safeguards cage assets.
• Assists guests with inquiries and informs about current promotions and events.
• Conducts transaction verifications to avoid discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Reports machine/software issues to Cage management; may perform minor repairs under supervision.
• Provides training to other Team Members as requested by Cage management.
• Reports infractions of policies to Cage management immediately.
• Delivers BIG Service to internal guests and maintains professional relationships with managers and staff.
