Job summary

Regis Corporation is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a clean, friendly cafeteria environment. You will work in coordination with the Kitchen Manager, assist with daily menus, set up serving lines, process payments, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a team player attitude, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow instructions. There is a focus on customer service and maintaining a positive atmosphere for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Must pass state-required background check and fingerprinting for NJ schools.
• Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of meals and the setup of the cafeteria.
• Checks with Kitchen Manager for daily preparation work assignments.
• Assists in the preparation of daily menus.
• Sets up daily snacks on the cafeteria line.
• Assists in checking food shipments into the school and signs invoices after verification.
• Serves nutritious meals to students in a friendly manner.
• Keeps the serving line clean and stocked between lunch periods.
• Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain cafeteria cleanliness.
• Inputs prepayment and daily sales; posts deposits at day end.
