Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus in Lafayette, Indiana is seeking a Food Services Associate II to support cafeteria operations on site. You will assist with food preparation, serving, and delivery for patient meals and events while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role involves setting up serving areas, handling POS transactions, and assisting with catering functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year healthcare, food service, cafeteria, or restaurant experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification required in Illinois; in Indiana preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in delivery, set-up, and cleaning for special functions.
• Assist with catering events and meal delivery.
• Grill, deep fry, and finish cooking as required.
• Handle cafeteria POS transactions correctly.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Practice safe food handling procedures.
• Perform cold food assembly as required.
• Serve food according to temperature standards and present well.
• Set up and stock serving areas in the cafeteria.
