Job summary

Triumph Foods in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking an Experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a commercial kitchen. You will manage 10–12 staff, hire, train, discipline, and conduct terminations as needed, while ensuring food safety standards are upheld.

You will also handle menu planning, ordering, inventory, scheduling, and maintain strong relationships with clients and district leadership. This full-time role requires reliability and a solid work history.

Qualifications

• 1 year of management experience in the food service industry.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish helpful but not required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Solid work history with work-related references.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 10-12 employees daily, including hiring, training, discipline, and terminations.
• Prepare weekly menus and recipes for customers.
• Follow all Food Safety Protocol.
• Complete operating functions such as ordering, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Maintain a positive relationship between VVS and its clients.
• Complete other tasks related to the overall operation of a commercial kitchen facility.
• Report to VVS Canteen Manager and District Manager on a regular basis.
