Tavan Elementary School in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Senior Nutritional Services Worker to join our cafeteria team and help prepare and serve meals with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and six months of food handling, service, preparation or cashiering experience, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing and cooking foods, including baking, cupping fruit, washing vegetables, and other related tasks.
• Collects lunch money, balances cash drawers and assists with daily cash reports.
• Serves and replenishes food supply and maintains hygiene in cafeteria and kitchen areas.
• Prepares cafeteria for meals, monitors utensil and napkin availability and sets up serving areas.
• Monitors food inventory counts and assists with stock management.
• Performs other duties of similar nature or level.
