Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus six months of food handling, service, preparation and/or cashiering experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, basic math, cooking equipment, inventory concepts, cash handling, and sanitation.
• Experience with reading recipes and following kitchen procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking foods, including baking, panning frozen items, and assembling meals.
• Collect lunch payments, balance cash drawers, and assist with daily cash reports.
• Serve and replenish food supplies and maintain cafeteria cleanliness and organization.
• Prepare cafeteria for meals, manage utensils, trays, and serving stations.
• Monitor food inventory and perform counts of unused food after meals.
