Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dependable cafeteria worker to prepare and serve meals according to planned menus while upholding quality and safety standards. You will support daily kitchen operations, from food prep to serving and clean-up, ensuring a positive dining experience for students.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, stocking supplies, counting inventory, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

Knowledge of customer service principles and basic math concepts.
Familiarity with cooking and food prep equipment; basic inventory principles.
Cash handling procedures; ability to read recipes and follow directions.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and cooking foods as outlined in recipes and menus.
Serve and replenish food supplies to support meals.
Clean cafeteria and kitchen areas including tables, floors, ovens, and refrigerators.
Prepare the cafeteria for meals and monitor utensil availability.
Assist with inventory counts and rotate foods as needed.
Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
