Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Cafeteria Food Service Worker to assemble, portion, label, and restock foods, provide hospitable service, and maintain sanitation of the cafeteria. Qualifications

• Requires ability to follow standardized instructions and procedures.
• English reading, writing and speaking skills required.
• Understands basic weights, measures and mathematical functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares area for food serving and sets up steam tables and service areas.
• Prepares and portions salads, desserts, and deli items; replenishes food items as needed.
• Serves food in prescribed quantities and monitors temperatures.
• Informs production when a menu item is running low and restocks supplies.
• Maintains sanitation and performs warewashing duties.
• Assists in training other food service workers.
