Qualifications

• Current Choke Safe Certification preferred.
• Employment-based on successful CORI background check.
• Adhere to State Fingerprinting Regulation for school employees.
• Willing to be trained in basic nutrition, sanitation, and equipment use.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, diverse school environment.
• Ability to stand, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cook and serve meals to students and staff efficiently with proper portions.
• Ensure all reimbursable meals include required items on the tray.
• Utilize offer vs. serve and USDA reimbursable meal guidelines.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Record daily temperature logs and production records.
• Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries; report supplies needed.
