Job summary

The role includes hands-on leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and achieving service and financial goals; compensation ranges from $52,500 to $55,500 with major medical, holidays, vacation pay, 401(k) and annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Culinary background and experience in cafeteria corporate or college catering services.
• Understanding a P&L operation, and payroll control with a proven track record.
• Proficient use of email, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to handle PDFs.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and oversee employees.
• Provide motivation and training to staff.
• Identify top talent and develop team members for advancement.
• Monitor preparation methods, portions and overall food presentation.
• Achieve A ratings on local health inspections and ensure safety standards.
• Attend required meetings and monitor staff safety.
• Investigate and resolve food quality or service complaints.
• Review budgets, payroll and purchase transactions.
• Establish performance standards for personnel and meal service.
