Job summary

Grand Central Bakery is seeking a Café Team Member to support a welcoming cafe environment and serve delicious products to our loyal customers. You will handle transactions, operate cafe stations, and contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to great service and community impact.

Join a fast-paced cafe team where flexibility, reliability, and enthusiasm for our mission are valued. Training is provided to cover the POS, kitchen duties, and customer interactions in a busy Seattle setting.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
Valid Food Handler's Card and adherence to health guidelines.
Regular attendance and on-time performance a must.
Basic math and computer skills are required.
Comfort working in a busy cafe with customers and delays.
Food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Delivers outstanding customer service following the 3 Steps to Great Service.
Works at all stations and shifts as trained (retail opening/closing, pastry/Baking prep, etc.).
Uses POS, R365, and KDS systems accurately and efficiently.
Keeps the cafe clean and maintains friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
Engages customers about products and Grand Central Bakery's mission.
