Grand Central Bakery Hillsboro is seeking a Cafe Team Member to join our vibrant Hillsboro cafes. The role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service, handling cash accurately, and maintaining a welcoming environment across multiple stations.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, assisting with baking prep, and contributing to a clean, efficient cafe. Availability Tue/Wed and weekends is required; part-time schedule with flexible days and times.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
Knowledge of food safety and handling recommended.
Able to work in a busy cafe with a positive attitude.
Team-oriented with flexibility to work across stations.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service following the 3 Steps to Great Service.
Assist across cafe stations including opening, closing, sandwich bar, baking prep, and cleaning tasks.
Support training of new team members and create an inclusive team environment.
Maintain accurate POS and cash handling procedures.
Prepare and serve cafe products per Grand Central Bakery specifications.
Engage with customers about products and promote the bakery's mission and values.
