Job summary

Chobani is seeking an Assistant Cafe Manager to support daily cafe operations and help lead a team of baristas in delivering exceptional coffee experiences. You will collaborate with the Cafe Manager to recruit, train, and coach staff while maintaining fast, friendly service and top-quality beverage preparation.

In this role, you will manage opening/closing routines, optimize schedules, and ensure health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage.
• Strong people skills and a natural ability to inspire a good team.
• Knowledge of cafe operations, barista skills, or a passion for coffee culture.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of business operations (scheduling, inventory, POS systems).
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cafe operations and support the Cafe Manager to ensure high service standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of baristas.
• Coach team members and provide ongoing feedback to maintain a positive atmosphere.
