Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Shift Lead to guide a cafe team in New York, delivering a seamless guest experience from espresso to retail service. You will work on the floor beside the team, coaching and directing daily operations.

This role develops leadership skills with opportunities to advance to Assistant Cafe Manager. You will train new teammates, model best practices, and maintain a welcoming environment during busy and slow periods.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coach, direct, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality, with a focus on customer-facing roles.
• Must hold a valid Food Safety Manager Certificate.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver the best service in a fast-paced cafe setting.
• Coach employees in real time, assign tasks, and ensure shift goals are met.
• Manage opening and closing tasks and act as a key holder when needed.
• Oversee merchandising and inventory tasks to maintain presentation.
