Job summary

Daily Provisions Cafe Sous Chef opportunity at Union Square Hospitality Group in Brooklyn, NY. You will work closely with the Cafe Chef to maintain top culinary standards, oversee BOH and hourly team members, and drive consistent service across all channels including in-restaurant, delivery, and catering.

We seek a candidate with at least 2 years of kitchen leadership in casual dining, strong food knowledge, and a proven ability to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in culinary/kitchen leadership within casual dining.
• Strong food & beverage knowledge and passion for culinary excellence.
• Experience training and developing Back of House team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations in daily service and ensure culinary standards.
• Collaborate with Front of House and Back of House to uphold Daily Provisions procedures.
• Train and coach BOH staff; enforce safety, food quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Support and manage operations in front of house as needed.
