Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of café or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Degree or background in culinary arts a plus.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with inventory and Point of Sale systems.
• Sound financial and business management skills.
• Weekend and evening hours required.
• Clearance of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Manages café operations and administration with high standards.
• Maintains top food service and safety standards, per regulations.
• Directs all food prep and culinary activities, including alcohol service.
• Develops rotating Frick-inspired menus while managing costs.
• Creates specials, promotions, and events with the team.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates café staff including POS training.
• Ensures compliance with food safety manuals and health regs.
• Prepares budget and revenue projections; tracks costs.
• Oversees cash handling and daily deposits.
• Builds relationships with local and minority‑owned vendors.
• Maintains café appliances and coordinates maintenance.
• Collaborates with Marketing to promote offerings and events.
• Schedules staff and covers shifts; works 2–3 days on the floor weekly.
• Handles visitor inquiries with exceptional service.
• Maintains ServeSafe and RAMP certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
