Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a qualified operations supervisor for a dynamic cafe environment in San Francisco. You will supervise associates, ensure quality service, and help execute promotions while maintaining standards and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong cash handling and foodservice equipment knowledge. Proficiency in MS Office and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of relevant foodservice operations experience.
• Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ServSafe or Department of Health certification required.

Responsibilities

• Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
• Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe.
• Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards.
• Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business.
• Manages cafe operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
