Job summary

Eataly’s bustling marketplaces include quick service counters serving espresso, pastries, gelato, pizza and grab-and-go meals. The QSR Specialist supports day-to-day operations across counters, ensures quality standards, and helps train and mentor team members.

Reports to the QSR General Manager and QSR Assistant General Managers. Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred.
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience in food service.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of coffee and coffee production.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides service across all QSR counters, ensuring the team consistently meets high standards of hospitality.
• Sets ups stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens.
• Ensures all items are dated and following FIFO standards.
• Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting.
• Prepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products.
• Supports, motivates, guides, educates and mentors team members.
• Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department.
• Ensures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Documents, investigates, resolve and escalates guest incidents.
• Assists with administrative duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
