Bon Appétit in San Francisco is hiring an Assistant Café Manager to lead daily operations and deliver world-class service. You will supervise front-of-house staff, ensure food safety and safety compliance, and uphold client and company standards.

In partnership with the Café Manager, you will drive staff development, optimize operational performance, and foster excellent guest experiences while managing safety, allergen controls, and digital ordering systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in high-volume/service environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Experience with digital ordering tools and menus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations with focus on service quality and safety.
• Lead and develop front-of-house staff; coordinate with Cafe Manager.
• Uphold Health Department regulations and Bon Appétit's standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through warm, inclusive hospitality.
• Monitor financials and budget adherence while maintaining efficiency.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders to meet cafe objectives.
