Job summary

The Ohio State University’s The Blackwell Inn invites a Rohr Café Manager to lead and grow the café team, delivering exceptional guest experiences at a busy campus location. You’ll oversee daily operations, coach staff, and drive initiatives to enhance service and revenue while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will report to the Food and Beverage Manager, work flexible shifts, and contribute to a vibrant campus dining program with full university benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years of relevant experience required.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Rohr Café, ensuring efficient service and a positive guest experience.
• Serve as the primary front-of-house leader, working with staff to support daily business needs.
• Drive revenue growth through marketing initiatives, promotions, and social media engagement.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop café team members.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and accountability to maintain service excellence.
