Job summary

Jobtailor in Virginia is seeking a seasoned Café Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with health, safety, and contract deliverables. You will manage inventory, train staff, and mentor team members while resolving customer issues and maintaining a harmonious workplace.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive food service experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in the food service industry.
• Minimum five (5) years of management experience in food service.
• High School Diploma required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food service operations, food handling and safety regulations in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent stress management and ability to maintain composure.
• Ability to prioritize workload, solve problems quickly and interact with others to achieve efficient, seamless workflow.
• Must pass NCIC background check.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Subject to random drug screens throughout employment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Core Monday through Friday schedule with occasional evening or weekend hours as job duties demand.
• Local travel may be required to procure goods as needed.
