Job summary

La Madeleine French Bakery & Café in Houston is seeking a General Manager to lead daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, and uphold our warm, authentic hospitality.

You will coach a diverse team, drive performance, manage labor and costs, and build community partnerships through local marketing while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant general management experience (fast casual or full-service preferred).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain a high-performing team
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Run the Show - Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
