Express Employment Professionals seeks a General Manager for a fast-paced, health-focused cafe. You will lead a high-energy team, drive guest experience, and deliver strong business results through hands-on leadership and people development.

The role requires managing daily operations, scheduling, inventory, vendor coordination, and adherence to company standards while coaching staff and optimizing labor and sales metrics. Open availability and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of previous management experience in retail, food service, or café required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Open availability including weekends, opening, and closing shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operations & guest experience: handle concerns, open and close the store, and plan ahead for events and demand.
• Financial & administrative: schedule baristas and other staff, monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors for orders, and initiate bank deposits.
• Leadership: interview, onboard, train, coach, and develop employees.
• Monitor and drive key metrics including labor, sales, and guest satisfaction.
• Act as the primary decision-maker for the store.
