Job summary

Maman, a French bakery and café lifestyle brand, seeks a General Manager for a Delray Beach location to oversee daily operations, lead front- and back-of-house teams, and drive guest satisfaction. You will balance hospitality with financial performance and mentor up to 25 staff while maintaining maman’s standards.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and SOPs, collaborate on events and marketing, and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, labor, and costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations ensuring efficiency and consistency in service delivery.
• Drive sales growth, manage COGS, and control labor costs to achieve profitability targets.
• Review daily financial performance and partner with leadership to implement improvements.
• Oversee scheduling, ordering, inventory management, and reporting.
• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of up to 25 employees.
• Hire, onboard, evaluate and terminate staff and provide documentation in a timely manner.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and ongoing coaching.
• Onboard and train new hires in HRIS and ensure readiness before training shifts.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment with accountability and hospitality.
• Champion maman’s hospitality standards and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Build guest loyalty by developing rapport with regulars and encouraging repeat visits.
• Maintain café aesthetics in line with maman’s lifestyle brand.
• Partner with Regional Directors on SOPs, menu launches, marketing initiatives, and events.
• Support cross-functional projects and align with brand standards.
• Provide insights to leadership regarding staffing needs and market trends.
