Living Spaces is hiring a Café Specialist to prepare and serve food and beverages while keeping a clean, safe environment for guests and team members. You will greet guests, take orders, handle basic prep, and ensure proper storage and rotation of foods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years in fast-paced guest-facing retail or related customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Food Handler Permit and Alcohol Beverage Certification as designated by state and local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food and drink orders.
• Handle basic food prep including washing, cutting, and assembling pre-packaged items.
• Ensure proper food storage and rotation of perishable items.
• Describe menu items and upsell products to guests.
• Serve alcohol, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages as requested.
• Operate cash register and card machine.
• Follow all food health and safety guidelines.
• Stock areas, order supplies, and maintain inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces and equipment used in food handling.
• Clean up spills and maintain overall service area cleanliness.
