Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Per Diem Food Service Worker at 75 Blossom Court. You will perform a wide range of duties to prepare and serve foods and beverages in a hospital food service environment.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, transporting supplies, maintaining food temperatures, assisting in preparation of dishes, serving customers, and keeping areas clean. Previous food service experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience 2-3 years required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and write.
• Knowledge of food service temperatures and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Sets up food service areas and checks temperatures.
• Transports food and supplies to serving sites.
• Sets up hot/cold lines and manages utensils.
• Prepares or assists in making dishes.
• Serves food and ensures portions, garnishes.
• Replenishes stations and condiments.
• Maintains equipment and cleans work areas.
