Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Cafeteria Supervisor to oversee daily operations at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital retail cafeteria. You will supervise staff, manage cash handling, and ensure food safety and quality standards across service sections.

The role requires 2–3 years of food service experience with supervisory responsibilities; Servsafe certification is preferred. Onsite location at 75 Francis Street with day shift commitments on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Nutrition degree preferred.
• Servsafe Food Handlers Certification preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years Food Service experience; supervisory experience 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of retail cafeteria staff.
• Coordinates cashiering, monitors food displays, and ensures safe service.
• Prepares staff schedules and assigns duties to meet demand.
• Maintains inventory records and compliance logs.
• Prepares and supervises hot and cold dishes for service.
