Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Dallas is seeking a Café Attendant to join Maple Hall Cafe at the corporate offices. The role focuses on delivering quick, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining high sanitation and kitchen standards.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering a consistent daytime routine with no late-night or weekend shifts. Prior kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a renowned luxury brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food-service or hospitality preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and kitchen operations.
• Strong communication and professional service mindset.
• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for 5+ hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in kitchen, front service line, and dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up the expo station with all necessary service items by 11:15 AM.
• Prepare fresh fruit and crudites for daily cafe service.
• Set up and maintain guest beverage and silverware stations.
• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately with friendly service.
• Communicate guest requests and special needs to kitchen staff and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary expo station per health guidelines.
• Learn and communicate descriptions of menu items produced at cafe stations.
• Close the hot station with proper storage, labeling, dating, and restocking for the next day.
• Assist with food preparation and front-line service as needed.
• Support cafe team to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and kitchen operations.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced food-service or hospitality environment preferred.
• Basic knife skills and comfort with food preparation.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional approach to service.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for 5+ hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a kitchen, front service line, and dining environment.
• Ability to safely use common kitchen equipment, including knives, utensils, mixers, ovens, stoves, grills, and related equipment.
