Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a friendly Café Associate to join our Dining Services team. In this role, you’ll play an important part in creating an enjoyable experience for every guest by preparing and serving food items, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in quality service, and values teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 1 year food service experience.
• Consent to drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide food prep, cooking, delivery, set up, serving, breakdown and cleaning for Catering Events both on and off premises.
• Prepare hot and cold items for service according to established recipes and standards.
• Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
• Sample, smell, and observe food to ensure conformance to recipes and standards of appearance and taste.
• Maintain a sanitary workstation, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
• Operate knives, hand tools, utensils, and equipment to portion and prepare food.
• Put up truck orders and stock deliveries.
• Remove trash as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove the trash as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/ GED and 1 year food service experience.

Preferred Qualifications
