Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a friendly Café Associate to join our Dining Services team. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages, and handle payments accurately with the POS system.

The role emphasizes teamwork, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards while supporting charitable activities through Feeding the Future, Inc. This position offers healthcare, retirement, and disability benefits along with a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or food service experience.
• Must consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with orders.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and electronic transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining and kitchen spaces.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
• Support the overall success of the café by assisting teammates and contributing to a positive work environment.
